Too old for dress-up?

Personally, I don’t think a girl ever outgrows the exhilaration that comes with trying on clothes, either old or new. I’m 22 and, still, few things rival pairing old with new pieces, especially business casual. And shoes, shoes, shoes. It’s not dress-up without gorgeous pumps! This is honestly what I do if I have some extra energy and am tempted to shop – just make new outfits with what I already have, instead of buying something completely new (and expensive).

Anyways, I felt like a solo photo shoot (it was 2 a.m. and my hair was a mess – don’t worry, I do have a head!). Oh, and can you tell what my favorite stores are?

If you look at only one photo, check the shoes in the second one. They’re so gorgeous, and they were only $20! 🙂 Hooray for late-night fun!

I love, love, love orange and white for spring or summer! Jacket and skirt: The Limited; top: NY&Company; shoes: Charlotte Russe

I still haven't had a chance to wear this dress anywhere (yay for a big-girl job starting in June!), but I think the wrap style is really flattering. Dress: NY&Company; shoes: Charlotte Russe

This is the only actual suit I own - everything else is bits and pieces - and I think this top makes the outfit. Plus, shoes. Suit: The Limited (Travel Collection); top: NY&Company; shoes: Charlotte Russe

My favorite skirt, just because it's so full and original. Plus, this top always makes me feel like a ballerina. Top: Forever 21; skirt: The Limited; shoes: Macy's (Nine West)
